This custom made dining table combines the timeless elegance of mid-century design with the precision of traditional Japanese joinery, all while showcasing a distinct west coast flare. Its creation started with the owners discovery of two extraordinary slabs of locally sourced western juniper, renowned for its distinctive colour, captivating aroma, and unique grain patterns. To complement this stunning wood, western yew—also locally sourced—was selected for the remaining construction, adding a rich warmth and character that elevates the overall unique character of this design.
